Who Can Access Telehealth Options

Telehealth options are a good choice when face-to-face sessions not possible. To access Telehealth you will need to:

  • Be able to find a quiet, safe & confidential space for the duration of the session

  • You cannot be located in the US or Canada, but you can be an international client

  • provide the name of at least two safe people who can care for you should I become worried about your welfare

  • Access a smartphone or computer or tablet and  usually an Internet connection

  • In limited circumstances, in Australia, you may be able to access Medicare Better Access to Mental Health rebates via a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP for sessions the new COVID 19 Medicare Item numbers (Currently valid until September 2020) or under the existing Rural and Remote Medicare Item numbers. Please note private sessions are available for clients who do not meet the criteria for rebates under medicare. Private sessions are also available.
