Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is sometimes also known as psychotherapy, talk therapy, or counselling. It is a collaborative process between therapist and client that aims to facilitate change and improve the quality of life of the client.
Therapy can help people gain insight, and cognitively and emotionally integrate difficult experiences and challenges in their life. It can help to help to dismantle the barriers that interfere with emotional and mental well-being, It can also help people to gain acceptance and self-compassion and compassion for others
It is common for people to find that they enjoy the process of therapy and of becoming more self-aware,
Having had extensive training in many therapeutic modalities, I see the world through an inter-personal lens. I see people as primarily social beings and my work with people reflects this interest.
I focus on relationship-based issues in my individual therapy
